The Experia Calming LED Bubble Wall is a wall-mounted, plug-in bubble sensory display that requires no controller, takes up no floor space, and cannot tip over - available across North America from The Sensory Supply. Mount it to the wall, plug it in, and hundreds of bubbles begin rising steadily across 72 inches of display while the colours shift slowly and automatically through a calming spectrum. Nothing to configure, nothing to pair, nothing to charge.
It is the most accessible LED bubble wall in the Experia range less than the Superactive version - with the same 72"L x 22"W x 8"H wall-mounted format and the same continuous bubble flow. The difference is the operating system: the Calming version cycles colour automatically, always, without input from the user or staff. For settings where a passive, consistently soothing sensory environment is the goal, this is the appropriate choice.
The tip-over safety of the wall-mounted format is explicitly noted on the product page as a benefit for settings where behavioural challenges might create a tip-over risk. A freestanding bubble tube column on a floor platform can be knocked over. A wall-mounted bubble wall cannot. For paediatric behavioural units, residential care homes, group homes, and any setting where a user's physical engagement with the environment is unpredictable, this distinction matters.
The unit includes a Bubble Wall emptying kit for straightforward cleaning and water changes. Bubble Tube BCB Fluid (sold separately) is recommended for ongoing use. All components operate on low voltage via the included transformer.
Key Features of the Experia Calming LED Bubble Wall
- Wall-Mounted, Zero Floor Footprint - The entire 72"L x 22"W x 8"H, 75 lb unit mounts to the wall, requiring no floor space, no platform, and no corner - making it suitable for settings where floor area is fully occupied or where floor-level equipment would create a hazard.
- Tip-Over Safe by Design - Because the unit is wall-mounted, it cannot be knocked over regardless of how actively a user engages with the space - a specific safety advantage for paediatric behavioural units, dementia care facilities, and any setting where physical contact with freestanding equipment creates a risk.
- Auto Colour-Cycling, No Controller Required - The Calming LED system cycles slowly and automatically through a rainbow of colours from the moment it is plugged in; no wireless controller, no pairing, no configuration required. Plug in and the calming environment begins.
- Hundreds of Bubbles Across 72 Inches of Wall Width - Bubbles rise steadily across the full 72-inch length of the display, creating a broad, continuous wall of slowly shifting colour and movement that fills the visual field more expansively than a single bubble tube column.
- Includes Bubble Wall Emptying Kit - A dedicated emptying kit for straightforward water changes and cleaning is included with the unit, keeping routine maintenance simple for non-specialist staff.
- Low Voltage Operation via Included Transformer - All components run on low voltage through the included transformer, which plugs into a standard 110v outlet.
- Made in the USA - Manufactured by Experia USA to the same quality standards as all Experia sensory room equipment.
Who the Calming Bubble Wall Is Designed For
The distinction between the Calming and Superactive versions of the Experia LED Bubble Wall is not just price - it is intended use context. The Calming version's automatic colour cycling is therapeutically deliberate: the slow, predictable, controller-free shifting of colour is specifically the pattern that produces a de-escalation response in individuals who are anxious, over-stimulated, or in emotional distress. The absence of a controller removes the expectation of interaction, which can itself be calming for users who find choice and agency overwhelming in a dysregulated state.
For settings where the therapeutic priority is passive, consistent sensory input - de-escalation spaces, pre-therapy preparation rooms, hospital waiting areas, memory care corridors, bedtime transition spaces in residential settings - the Calming version is the correct choice. For settings where user-controlled interactivity is the therapeutic goal, the Superactive version is the appropriate step up.
Ideal for
- De-escalation rooms, calm-down spaces, and sensory breakout areas in schools and resource rooms
- Paediatric behavioural units and wards where tip-over safety from wall-mounting is a clinical requirement
- Memory care facilities, dementia care units, and residential care homes where a passive, predictable sensory environment supports daily wellbeing
- Hospital corridors, waiting rooms, and pre-procedure areas where calming ambient sensory input is needed without floor obstruction
- Group homes and residential care settings where a shared, maintenance-minimal sensory display serves multiple residents
- Occupational therapists equipping sensory spaces where passive de-escalation is the primary clinical goal
- Families with limited space building a low-maintenance home calming environment
- Dimensions: 72" L x 22" W x 8" H
- Weight: 75 lbs

- What is the difference between IRiS, Superactive, Calming?
- IRiS: Take full control of your Sensory Room with Experia's revolutionary IRiS Wireless Sensory Products range. IRiS Products use the latest technology to allow any IRiS Talker to control any IRiS listener creating stimulating interactive multisensory environments for the user. Each controller has been specifically designed for special needs users to improve skills such as color recognition, gross and fine motor skills.
- What is a Listener?: Experia products that light up and change colours, or create sound. This would include Bubble Tubes, Fibre Optics, Recordable Speakers, and more. They are "Listeners" because they are listening for a signal from an Experia controller.
- What is a Talker?:A Talker is Experia's word for a controller. Talkers/Controllers send signals to Listeners to change colours or make sounds. They are Talking to the Listeners. Talkers would include the Colour Selector, Qube, Balance Beam, and many more.
- Superactive: The Superactive range of products allow the user a wonderful level of control over their environment.
