OPTIKinetics offers two effect formats for Solar projectors: 6-inch effect wheels and 50mm effect cassettes. Both produce projected visual effects, but they use different rotators and create different types of imagery. The 50mm cassette format produces abstract kinetic pattern effects - the moire-style colour movement this cassette is known for. The 6-inch wheel format covers a broader range of effects including liquid oil effects, picture and image projections, and beam effects. The two systems are not interchangeable - the 50mmCassette Rotator is required for cassettes, and the 6-inch wheel rotators are required for 6-inch wheels.
