The Experia Touch Sensitive LED Sensory Bubble Tube is a colour-changing sensory bubble tube available across North America, in three heights: 40", 60" (most common), and 80". It has no wireless remote. Colour is changed by lightly pressing any of the four coloured buttons mounted directly on the base of the tube — one press per colour change, extremely sensitive, with minimal pressure required. A fifth black button switches the bubbles on and off independently.
This is the bubble tube for two specific situations that no wireless remote can solve. The first: users with limited grip strength, reduced fine motor control, or poor hand-to-eye coordination who cannot reliably operate a handheld wireless controller. The base buttons require only the lightest touch — a fingertip, the side of a hand, or a gentle fist press is sufficient. The second: facilities where a wireless remote is a practical liability — settings where remotes are frequently dropped, lost, damaged, or become hygiene concerns between users. The Touch Sensitive tube eliminates the remote entirely; the controls are always present, always accessible, always on the tube.
The four base buttons change the colour of the LED light source through the tube and the rising water and bubbles. The bubbles themselves can be switched on and off with the black button, giving the operator independent control over both the visual and kinetic elements without reaching any additional control panel or remote.
All three heights — 40", 60", and 80". The 60" is labelled most common. The Experia Bubble Tube Bracket is recommended for tubes 60" and over to prevent tip-over. Maintenance-free LED technology means no lamp replacements are required.
Low voltage via included transformer. Standard 110v outlet. Made in the USA.
Key Features of the Experia Touch Sensitive LED Sensory Bubble Tube
- Four Colour Buttons on the Base - Minimal Pressure, Extremely Sensitive - Four large coloured buttons are mounted at the base of the tube; pressing any one changes the colour of the LED display immediately. The buttons are extremely sensitive — minimal pressure is sufficient, making colour changes accessible to users who cannot operate a handheld controller.
- Black Button On/Off for the Bubbles - A fifth black button at the base switches the bubbles on and off independently of the colour display, giving the user or operator direct control over the kinetic sensory element without any additional remote or panel.
- No Wireless Remote - Controls Are Always on the Tube - Unlike every other interactive Experia bubble tube, the Touch Sensitive tube has no wireless remote. The four colour buttons and the bubble on/off button are permanently on the tube, always accessible, and cannot be lost, dropped, damaged, or require charging.
- Ideal for Limited Motor Skills and Poor Hand-to-Eye Coordination - The minimal pressure required by the base buttons makes this tube the appropriate choice for users who cannot reliably press, hold, or navigate the buttons on a standard wireless remote.
- Ideal for Facilities Where Wireless Remotes Are a Risk - In settings where remotes are frequently lost, damaged between sessions, or create hygiene challenges when shared between users, the Touch Sensitive tube removes the remote entirely while retaining full colour-change interactivity.
- Three Heights - 40", 60" (Most Common), and 80". The 60" is the most commonly selected. The Experia Bubble Tube Bracket is recommended for 60" and over.
- Maintenance-Free LED Technology - LED light source means colours never fade and no lamp replacements are required, keeping ongoing maintenance to zero.
- Made in the USA - Manufactured by Experia USA. Instruction manual available in the Specs tab.
Skills Developed Through the Experia Touch Sensitive LED Sensory Bubble Tube
- Colour Recognition - Pressing a specific coloured button and watching the tube shift to that colour creates a direct, low-demand colour-matching and identification interaction that does not require fine grip or wireless controller operation.
- Cause and Effect - The immediate, visible response to pressing a base button — the tube colour changes, the bubbles continue rising in the new colour — is a clear, repeatable cause-and-effect experience accessible to users at the earliest levels of intentional motor engagement.
- Hand-to-Eye Coordination - Localising and accurately pressing a specific coloured button at the base of the tube develops directed hand-to-eye coordination in a low-pressure, high-reward sensory context.
- Gross Motor Skills - Reaching toward the base of the tube, pressing a button, and releasing develops intentional arm extension and gross motor reach in users who may not yet have the fine motor control for smaller button operation.
- Fine Motor Skills - For users developing fine motor precision, the extremely sensitive buttons allow successful engagement with smaller finger movements as motor control improves, with no risk of failure due to insufficient grip strength.
- Visual Tracking and Attention - Watching the rising bubbles change colour in response to button presses develops sustained visual tracking — following the bubbles from base to top — in a highly motivating sensory context.
Ideal for
- OT clinics and therapy spaces where individuals with limited motor skills need a bubble tube controller that responds to minimal pressure
- Schools, resource rooms, and sensory rooms serving users at early or emerging levels of intentional motor engagement
- Facilities where wireless remotes are a practical management concern — settings where remotes are regularly lost, damaged, or shared between multiple users and hygiene protocols require simple, fixed controls
- Users of all ages and abilities who benefit from bubble tube visual and proprioceptive sensory input with accessible, on-tube colour control
- Sensory rooms building a bubble tube collection that includes both wireless and non-wireless interaction options

FAQ:
- What is the difference between IRiS, Superactive, Calming?
- IRiS: Take full control of your Sensory Room with Experia's revolutionary IRiS Wireless Sensory Products range. IRiS Products use the latest technology to allow any IRiS Talker to control any IRiS listener creating stimulating interactive multisensory environments for the user. Each controller has been specifically designed for special needs users to improve skills such as color recognition, gross and fine motor skills.
- What is a Listener?: Experia products that light up and change colours, or create sound. This would include Bubble Tubes, Fibre Optics, Recordable Speakers, and more. They are "Listeners" because they are listening for a signal from an Experia controller.
- What is a Talker?:A Talker is Experia's word for a controller. Talkers/Controllers send signals to Listeners to change colours or make sounds. They are Talking to the Listeners. Talkers would include the Colour Selector, Qube, Balance Beam, and many more.
- Superactive: The Superactive range of products allow the user a wonderful level of control over their environment. All Superactive products can be controlled with the standard 8 color wireless controller or the brand new wireless Maze Controller! The standard 8 color wireless controller is included with all our Superactive products unless otherwise specified.
