The Whitney Brothers Nature View Play Beach House is the newest member of Whitney Brothers' award-winning 83-piece Nature View Collection - a biophilia-inspired ocean beach play structure sized at 60" x 60" x 60" for Early Learning classrooms, available across North America. This is the most recent addition to a collection that has earned multiple design awards from Interior Design magazine, Spaces4Learning, Good Design, and Architizer A+.
The defining feature is the shatterproof acrylic panels printed with a high-resolution tranquil ocean beach scene. Turquoise water and sandy shores fill the panels, and children who look closely will find seagulls, sea turtles, hermit crabs, manta rays, dolphins, coconuts, sailboats, and an iconic lighthouse hidden throughout. The panels do three things: they immerse children in the beach scene, they dampen noise within the structure, and they are transparent enough to provide teachers and caregivers with important visibility of children inside for safe supervision from any angle. The pergola-style open roof admits ventilation and light, and the wide door openings make entry and exit easy for young children and adults supervising.
