Jump, Sprint & Conquer with the Sensory Paths Xtreme Obstacle Full Path – Agility Ladders, Tire Drills & Log Jumps – A Full Fitness Circuit on Your School Floor

Description

Some hallways just have to be run. The Sensory Paths Xtreme Obstacle is a full-length active floor path that turns a school corridor into a proper movement circuit - complete with agility ladders, tyre drills, log jumps, motivational quotes, and a finish line that kids will want to race back to. Available across North America at The Sensory Supply, it is the Sensory Paths path built for speed, coordination, and pure physical challenge.

Designed for hallways approximately 35 to 50 feet long, the Xtreme Obstacle is the most athletically focused path in the Sensory Paths range - shorter in footprint than the Wild Wilderness but packed with movement variety from start to finish. As with all Sensory Paths products, graphics are printed in full colour and manufactured from high-quality 3M vinyl, laminated with an anti-slip surface for safe use on hard school floors.

What the Full Path Includes

The Xtreme Obstacle Full Path combines all content from Sections 1, 2, and 3 into a complete, end-to-end movement circuit.

  • Section 1 includes: Start marker; foot steps; sidestep speed ladder; 5 left foot tires and 5 right foot tires; 4 movement squares; 3 movement bamboo; Take a Breath square.
  • Section 2 includes: Turn and jump speed ladder; 11 log jumps; 2 motivational quotes.
  • Section 3 includes: Multicoloured speed ladder; Balance lightning bolt; 5 left foot tires and 5 right foot tires; Finish marker.

The path is also available as individual sections - Section 1, Section 2, or Section 3 - for schools with shorter hallways, phased rollouts, or tighter budgets.

Key Features of the Sensory Paths Xtreme Obstacle Floor Path

  • 3M Vinyl Construction - Manufactured from quality 3M materials with proven adhesion, so the path holds firmly to hard floors and stays sharp-looking through daily use and routine cleaning
  • Anti-Slip Laminate - A textured non-slip surface protects the graphics and provides traction underfoot, keeping the agility and tyre drill elements safe for fast-moving feet
  • Durable and Long-Lasting - Built to handle the daily wear of active school hallways, gymnasiums, therapy corridors, and multi-purpose rooms
  • Wax-Compatible Surface - Floor graphics can be waxed overtop after installation for an extended lifespan, an important detail for schools and facilities that maintain waxed floors
  • Easy Installation - Peel-and-apply graphics require no specialist tools, so maintenance teams can have the circuit up and running quickly
  • Full Colour Digital Print - Big, bold, digitally printed graphics make every station clear and visually motivating, drawing children in from the moment they step into the hallway
  • Flexible Layout - The suggested layout uses an 8-foot-wide hallway, and graphics can be spaced closer together or further apart to fit corridors between 35 and 50 feet
  • English and French Options - Available in both languages for bilingual schools and French immersion programmes across North America

Skills Children Develop on the Xtreme Obstacle Path

  • Gross Motor Coordination - Agility ladder drills, tyre step patterns, and log jumps challenge children to control their bodies precisely, building the coordination and motor planning skills that carry into sport, writing, and everyday movement
  • Balance and Spatial Awareness - The Balance lightning bolt and single-foot tyre drills require children to maintain stability while moving at speed, supporting the vestibular and proprioceptive processing that underpins focus and self-regulation
  • Bilateral Coordination - Alternating left and right foot placements through the speed ladder and tyre sequences develop the cross-body coordination essential for reading, writing, and physical activity
  • Attention and Self-Regulation - The Take a Breath square and motivational quotes build in structured pause points, teaching children to regulate arousal and transition back to calm after vigorous movement
  • Persistence and Motivation - A clear start, a finish line, and two motivational quotes along the route give children an intrinsic reason to complete the circuit and return to it again, building confidence and a positive relationship with physical challenge
  • Cardiovascular Fitness - Hopping, jumping, sidestepping, and speed-ladder work elevate heart rate in short, purposeful bursts - the kind of brain break that research consistently links to improved focus and classroom readiness

Ideal for

  • Schools and daycares installing active hallways, movement circuits, or brain break stations
  • Physical education teachers and after-school programmes building indoor agility courses
  • Occupational therapy clinics targeting gross motor, balance, and bilateral coordination goals
  • Children's hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and therapy gyms seeking structured movement environments
  • Special education and inclusion programmes where structured physical input supports regulation
  • Neurodiverse children who benefit from proprioceptive and vestibular input as part of a sensory diet
  • Neurotypical children who simply love a challenge and respond to speed, competition, and physical play
  • Bilingual and French immersion schools across North America
Proper Care
  • No Harsh Chemicals or Cleaners
  • ONLY SOAP & WATER OR ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL IS RECOMMENDED FOR CLEANING.
  • DO NOT USE any cleaning machines or chemical cleaners over top of the graphics.
  • A mop and bucket are the best ways to clean the graphics and dry them immediately.
  • Dry any standing water on or around the edges of the graphics.
