The Experia Sound Equalizer is a sound-reactive LED sensory wall panel that transforms any voice, sound, or music into an immediate, colourful visual display - available across North America. Speak, sing, hum, or play music nearby, and the panel responds with a dynamic light pattern that reflects the sound it is hearing. That direct relationship between sound and light output is what makes this product genuinely therapeutic: it creates a visible, compelling reason to vocalise.
For anyone working on communication development - supporting a child learning to use their voice intentionally, encouraging an individual who rarely vocalises, or building confidence around spoken communication - the Sound Equalizer offers something that few other sensory products can. The visual response is immediate, non-judgemental, and endlessly repeatable. Every sound gets a response. That simple truth is enormously motivating.
Key Features of the Experia Sound Equalizer
- Sound-Reactive LED Visual Display - Displays a live visual representation of any sound or music being picked up by the microphone, creating an immediate cause-and-effect relationship between vocalisation and a dynamic, colourful light response.
- Multiple Engaging Modes and Features - Packed with a range of modes and features that offer varied sensory and developmental experiences, making the product suitable for different users, activity types, and therapeutic goals.
- Made in the USA - Manufactured by Experia USA.
Skills Developed Through the Experia Sound Equalizer
- Vocalization and Communication Skills - The immediate visual response to any sound or voice input provides a consistent, rewarding cause-and-effect incentive for vocalisation, supporting the development of intentional sound production and early communication across a range of users and communication profiles.
- Cause and Effect - Every sound produces a visible change in the LED display, giving users a direct and repeatable experience of cause and effect that is one of the most fundamental building blocks of communication, cognition, and interaction.
- Sound Recognition - Responding to and observing the visual representation of different sounds - loud versus quiet, sustained versus brief, music versus voice - develops auditory discrimination and sound recognition skills in a motivating, multi-sensory context.
- Cognitive Skills - The combination of sensory input (sound), processing (what do I need to do?), and output (the visual response) creates a structured cognitive loop that supports attention, memory, and executive function development across a range of ages and abilities.
- User Confidence - Each successful interaction - any sound that produces a visual response - reinforces self-efficacy and builds confidence in the individual's ability to create change in their environment through their own actions, particularly meaningful for individuals with limited motor control who can interact through voice alone.
