The Experia IRiS LED Fibre Optic Bundle with Qube is a portable, wireless, lap-safe fibre optic bundle available across North America. At 12 lbs and 18"L x 18"W x 12"H, it is the most portable fibre optic product in the Experia range. The tactile fibre optic strands can be laid directly across a person's lap — the light comes to the user rather than the user approaching a wall-mounted installation.

The interaction mechanic is immediate and clear: roll the IRiS Qube — the 8"x8"x8" soft cube included in the bundle — and whatever colour lands face up when the Qube stops determines the colour of the fibre optics. The connection between rolling the Qube and watching the colour of the strands change is direct, wireless, and satisfying. The bundle ships ready to use with no pairing process: place the fibre optic strands, roll the Qube, watch the colour change.

The IRiS LED Fibre Optic Light Source (the box that houses the light) must be kept out of the user's reach for safety. The fibre optic strands themselves — the tactile, colourful part of the bundle — are completely safe to touch, hold, and drape.

Control is not limited to the Qube. Any IRiS Talker can control the fibre optic strands in this bundle, making it compatible with every other Experia IRiS Talker a buyer already owns — the IRiS Balance Beam, the IRiS Colour Selector, the Maze Controller, or any other. The free IRiS+ App is also available via the IRiS+ iConverter (sold separately).
