The Experia Superactive LED Fibre Optic Bundle is a portable, lap-safe, colour-changing fibre optic bundle available across North America. At 18 lbs and 17"L x 17"W x 13"H, it comes complete with the wireless 8-colour Qi-charging controller — press any one of the eight coloured buttons and the fibre optic strands change to that colour immediately. The strands can be laid directly across a person's lap for a close, hands-on sensory experience: the colour and the light are in the hands, not on a wall.

The 8-colour wireless controller uses Qi charging and operates from up to 90 feet away, giving the operator flexibility to control the colour from across any standard sensory room. The Maze Controller is available as an add-on (sold separately) for tilt-activated gross motor colour interaction alongside the standard controller; both controllers use the same Qi charging system and the same 90-foot wireless range.

The light source must be kept out of the user's reach for safety. The fibre optic strands themselves are completely safe to touch, hold, and drape across the lap or hands. The user can get as close to the strands as they like.

The Superactive bundle is the button-press version of the lap-safe fibre optic experience. The IRiS Fibre Optic Bundle with Qube (separate product) provides the same lap-safe format with a roll-the-cube interaction instead of button presses. Both are 18 lbs or lighter, both are portable, both are lap-safe — the difference is the interaction mechanic and the controller compatibility system.
